We spent a delightful ten days in Paicenes, Ca in San Benito, another Thousand Trails park. The park was pretty quiet, not too many RV,s here this time of year. We were unable to get Internet access or TV so we spent many late afternoons playing Cards or the Mexican train Game with our neighbors the Wilkerson's. Bill got a kick out of all the 5MPH signs throughout the park; I will say he did his best to keep the Yaris under control. By day we set our sights on touring the country side. Bill had spent time in Monterey taking courses while in the Marine Corps and one of his professors who lived in nearby Carmel By the Sea continuously urged his students to visit this beautiful ocean front community. It was indeed special with its quaint streets lined with shops and restaurants and yes indeed a very beautiful beach. Climbing up and down the hills wasn't much fun because of those few extra pounds we were both carrying.
