Santa Barbara, CA - Rancho Oso

We spent two weeks in Santa Barbara, Ca in a Thousands Trails park called Rancho Oso. Not much here except those chickens and some horses. Bill got caught petting the horses...the signs all around the ranch warned us not to do that. But who could resist; we are on a dude ranch for gosh sake! We ventured out of the park in search of entertainment and found a great beach where Bill could use his metal Detector. No great finds this time, but you never know, maybe tomorow that diamond ring might turn up. We found a mile long flea market and walked around chatting with vendors admiring there crafts. We visited the local tourist booth located inside a restored building containing a chapel and city hall. We were given a walking tour map of the local area and spent an hour admiring the rows or stores and homes. The view from the top of City Hall was spectacular.
