Hanks Creek Recreation area in Jasper, Texas was our next three day stop. The park was a busy place on the weekend with families cooking and swimming and just enjoying being outdoors. We spent most of our time working on the course, but did manage to get a few good walks around the park in. The town of Jasper and the other surrounding towns are definitely not tourist destinations. There is very little to do except try to relax and enjoy the beauty all around us.
