Palm Springs, CA

We arrived at the Palm Springs Thousand Trails RV Park in Palm Desert, CA on January 11th.

The park is exactly what we expected. Palm Trees, warm weather, clubhouse, library, hot tub and pool. The people are friendly and we can't wait to explore Palm Springs. Our first stop was the the local Tourist office. We chatted with a lovely woman at the desk who gave us lots of information about the area and handed us a slew of brochures to read. No visit would be complete, she told us, unless we took the ten minute tram ride to the top of the mountain.

We drove to the tram station and checked out the pricing and schedules. We were told by the ticket agent that the top of the mountain was even more beautiful after a fresh snow fall. She said snow was in the forecast for the following week. We decided to postpone the trip to the top and see if her predictions come true.
