Living in our RV is just like being at home with only one exception:
We are at home! We have just added Direct TV to our growing list of creature comforts. Setting the thing up for the first time was awful, but the end result was well worth the effort. As you can see in the photo, Marcia is busy working on the computer using our air card while Bill lounges on the sofa watching the latest episode of "O J Simpson Goes to Jail". We are in the middle of a swamp at the end of the earth, and we still have TV and the Internet. How cool!
We grew up in an era when camping was synonymous with "roughing it". Not any more. We have an enclosed toilet, a separate shower, a king size bed, a huge kitchen, a refrigerator/freezer, and did I mention the washer and dryer? Life is good! I guess I neglected to mention the air conditioner and the fireplace. This is going to be a wonderful home to us as we tour the continent.
